We're re-doing our cabinets.
They're fine cabinets.
They're good old fashion hide your spices, hold your plates, collect crumbs and pieces of cheese- cabinets.
But they're not FABinets.
We bought a house, but we want it to be our home.
Cory and I would call our aesthetic 'Modern, Clean Lines, black and white A Go-Go'
The A-Go-Go part is silent.
We're painting our kitchen cabinets black.
Because all the other wood in our house is black.
And because A Go-Go wasn't a color option.
It's a crazy change.
It has caused tears, sweat, and some wildly crass verbiage.
Sailors would cover their ears and mamas would hide their babies if they witnessed us in progress.
But, in the end it'll look good, and we'll be happy.
And if it doesn't-- we'll join a fleet of bandit sailors and put our new found verbiage to better use.

The Goods, not even a little Good.
Cory and I love Ari Gold from Entourage.
We wish we had the crumpets to be even 1/2 the horrid jerk off he is.
So, with that love, we had high hopes for the movie 'The Goods live hard, sell hard."
The goods, sucked hard.
We should have left.
We should have not gone and just stuck our 17 dollars out on our lawn for the pigeons to poop on in the morning.
We should have stayed home and eaten yarn.
Hindsight
Hind= Ass
Sight= you're looking at one.
Ultimately, we stuck it out for the monetary principle.
And the 'Eh, we're here and it smells like butter' principle.
Convincingest principles known to man.
Be good.

Wine Tonight
Wine Tonight-
Our wine tasting tonight was La Crema and Kendal Jackson.
Kendal Jackson, famous for being Kendal Jackson, and famously 'Pretty Good' no matter who you are.
We bought the Pinot Noir, because of its smooth light drink.
It doesn't offend and it doesn't pretend.
It's hard to find a 'Go-To' Pinot.
But this is a 'Go-To' immediately-- if you have 24 bucks while patronizing a local retailer.
We bought it on sale, with our wine tasting discount.
So it was only 13.
13 makes it even better tasting.
It's almost gone... and so is the night.
Good wine night. 8.5 out of 10.
Be good.

The Mate, now the Date.
We've set a date for our wedding - July 10th 2010.
11 months away... prepare yourself now.
We've decided on the wine, the attire, the bouquets and we've ordered our arch.
There's no turning back.
Not even if we have a funny feeling on our butt, like some sort of insect is crawling around and about to lay eggs back there.
No turning back.
We're that dedicated to the cause, and moreover- the phrase.
So basically, we're off and running.
-Which is good because we're also on diets for the big day.
Our colors are shades of pink.
And by 'our' colors I mean the colors I like and Cory has nodded at.
We'll have all the news that is wedding news here all blogged out.
Be good.
